Welcome to The Doctor's Office Café in Friday Harbor, your best choice on San Juan Island, Washington for locally roasted coffee, WiFi, homemade soups and ice cream, fresh juice bar, sandwiches, and a variety of entrees. We are open 365 days each year and are conveniently located next to the Washington State Ferry landing in one of the island's most beautiful historic structures.

 

Use our FREE WiFi to surf the internet while visiting the islands. We also have a complimentary computer available for you to check your email, airline reservations, weather forecasts and such. 

 

Our own blend of coffee beans come from all over the world, then the beans are locally roasted by San Juan Coffee Roasting Company to produce your espresso and latte Rx treatment.

You might commence your touring day with a breakfast sandwich or burrito from our kitchen (available all day) or select from a wonderful variety of homemade pastries.

 

Later stop back for homemade soups, one of our popular sandwiches, and homemade ice cream.

 

Vegan and gluten free soup and entree selections are always available.

 

Our juice bar includes real fruit and vegetables with fresh oranges, apples,  carrots, ginger, and more juiced to order.

Our colorful Victorian house is hard to miss when you come off the ferry. It was built in 1905 for the superintendent of the local waterfront cannery.

Summer:  4:30 am - 10:00 pm

Winter:  4:30 am - 8:00 pm

 

We are open all 365 days of the year at 4:30 am, closing early (4:30pm) on Thanksgiving and Christmas Days
